Ashley Regina Lucas
Ashley Regina Lucas is an artist, illustrator and children’s author based in Atlantic Highlands, NJ on the Jersey Shore. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Lucas has had her work published by The Taunton Press, Sunbury Press and on the OOLY blog as a creative contributor. She has created artwork for companies such as: Parents Magazine, DecoArt Paints and Williamson Home Licensing. Ashley’s playful characters have appeared in airport vending machines via SouveNEAR, on jewelry dishes sold at Hobby Lobby, and most recently on Spring House Brewing beer cans.
She was an integral part of the ART150 Art Fair and creative community during her twelve years in Jersey City and taught private art lessons to children ages 4 - 12 years.
Ashley grew up in Lancaster, PA and has lived in a number of cool cities thus far such as New York and Salzburg thanks to her husband’s Austrian roots. Ashley’s son Leon - whom she affectionately calls Moose - is her greatest inspiration and art critic. His suggestions and ideas have led her to success with her newest arts business, Sook & Hook, a brand which he also had a hand in naming.
Ashley loves meeting other beachcombers, nature enthusiasts, arty moms and Halloween fanatics. She is always open to new collaborations and creative opportunities.
